On October 22, Gia Lai Hydropower JSC (GHC) announced plans to transfer its trading from UPCOM to HoSE, with the final registration date set for November 5. Established in 2002, GHC is a subsidiary of Gia Lai Electricity JSC (GEG), which holds a 62.53% stake. GHC has been traded on UPCOM since 2011, starting at 7,300 VND/share (adjusted price of 800 VND), and has now surged to 28,700 VND/share, an increase of nearly 36 times. The company operates multiple hydropower and solar power plants, contributing significantly to revenue growth. In the first nine months of 2025, GHC reported nearly 236 billion VND in revenue, with a net profit of about 124 billion VND, and a net profit margin of 52.57%. The market transition is anticipated to offer more opportunities for GHC.
