Vingroup and billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong’s family establish V-Film company for film, television, and music production

The V-Film Joint Stock Company was established in late September at Vinhomes Riverside Urban Area in Hanoi. The company has 8 business sectors focusing on film and television production and distribution, as well as photography, audio recording, and music publishing. Founding shareholders include Vingroup (10% of capital), Pham Nhat Minh Hoang (5%), Pham Nhat Vuong (45%), Pham Nhat Minh Anh (10%), Pham Nhat Quan Anh (5%), and Pham Thu Huong (25%). Mr. Dang Thanh Thuy serves as the legal representative and Chairman of the Board. Vingroup had previously engaged in film production through VinTaTa, which produced the well-known animation series “Monta in the Odd Galaxy”. Recently, Vingroup received approval to build the Thong Nhat cinema in Hai Duong, with a total investment of nearly 18 billion VND, scheduled for completion in 2024-2025.
