Hòa Bình Construction Corporation (HBC) reported its Q3 2025 financial results, showing total revenue of over 1,122 billion VND, a 15% increase from Q3 2024. Gross profit rose by 10% to 66.8 billion VND, with profit margins remaining stable. Notably, financial revenue surged by over 1,100% to 229.5 billion VND, mainly due to late payment interest recognized following a court ruling. Net profit after tax reached 188.3 billion VND, up 138% year-on-year. HBC is currently undergoing restructuring, focusing on divesting unproductive investments and negotiating debt-to-equity swaps to alleviate financial pressure. Expected revenue for 2025 is lower than initially planned, as many projects are set to commence in Q3 and Q4. However, the backlog for 2026 exceeds 10,000 billion VND, indicating strong potential. HBC continues to lead in technology application in management and construction while maintaining credibility with major banks. The company also dismissed three senior executives in September.
