Likelihood of Federal Reserve reducing interest rates by 25 basis points in December reaches 69.8%

According to CME’s FedWatch, there is a 69.8% probability of the Federal Reserve reducing interest rates by 25 basis points in December, with a 30.2% chance of rates remaining the same. Furthermore, the likelihood of a 25 basis points cut by January increases to 56.6%, and a cumulative cut of 50 basis points has a probability of 23.2%.
