Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov confirmed the establishment of Bereket Bank, dedicated to virtual assets and digital currencies. The initiative was recommended by Binance’s Changpeng Zhao, signifying a notable shift towards digital finance in Kyrgyzstan.
The bank will operate independently without state involvement or public funding. Former parliament speaker Marat Sultanov will oversee its operations, while Nurdoolot Nurgazoev, son of the founder, will gain practical experience.
