Saigon Binh Tay Brewery Company Surprising Profit of Hundreds of Billions After Being Controlled by Thai Tycoon

The Joint Stock Company of Saigon Binh Tay Brewery (Sabibeco) recorded significant growth in revenue and profit in Q3/2025, after Sabeco (SAB) took control in late 2024. Sabibeco’s net revenue reached 2.306 trillion VND in the first nine months of 2025, a 52% increase compared to the previous year. Notably, after-tax profit reached over 108 billion VND, in stark contrast to the loss of 76.5 billion VND in the same period last year. In Q3/2025 alone, revenue hit 745 billion VND, up 54%, with after-tax profit of 66 billion VND compared to a loss of nearly 10 billion VND before. Revenue primarily came from collaboration with parent company Sabeco, accounting for 58% of total revenue. The company also optimized costs, with gross profit reaching nearly 86 billion VND, a 6.2 times increase from the previous year, while financial expenses decreased by 48%. Established in 2005, Sabibeco currently operates six breweries.
