Hive acquires 32.5 acres of land in Canada for around 1.7 million USD to expand its AI data center

On November 4th, HIVE Digital Technologies announced its purchase of 32.5 acres in Grand Falls, Canada, for approximately 1.7 million USD to develop a renewable energy-driven data center.

HIVE will deploy over 25,000 GPUs in the new facility, transitioning from Bitcoin mining to provide AI and HPC hosting services for large tech companies, utilizing hydroelectric power.
