KBC has just partnered with Accelerated Infrastructure Capital (AIC) and VietinBank to develop a large data center in HCM City, with a total investment of nearly 2 billion USD over an area of 10 hectares. The project will have a capacity of up to 200 MW, supporting around 100,000 GPUs, aimed at making HCM City a leading data and AI center in the region. Previously, many large enterprises like Viettel, CMC, and FPT had also announced investments in data centers in Ho Chi Minh City. Viettel will start construction of a 140 MW project in April 2025, while CMC and FPT are actively implementing projects to meet the increasing demand for cloud computing and AI.
