REE (Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation) has announced an increase in the charter capital of its subsidiary, REE Energy, from 7.248 trillion VND to 10.5 trillion VND through shareholder contributions. REE Energy is wholly owned by REE as of September 30, 2025. Additionally, REE has approved the establishment of two new subsidiaries to execute wind power projects in Vinh Long. The first, REE Duyen Hai 2 Wind Power Company, aims to have a charter capital of 677 billion VND to implement the V1-3 wind power plant Phase 2 project, with a total investment of 2.257 trillion VND. The second, REE Duyen Hai 3 Wind Power Company, will start with 50 billion VND in capital for the V1-5 and V1-6 project, requiring 3.864 trillion VND total investment. REE intends to fully fund the subsidiaries and maintain 100% ownership, expected to finalize in Q4 2025.
