Export Companies Vinatex, May Song Hong, Vinh Hoan, Sao Ta… Entering the Biggest Test Phase Since the Beginning of the Year

The Q3/2025 business results show that tariffs have begun to impact major exporting companies. Sao Ta recorded revenue of 2.983 trillion VND, net profit of 112 billion VND, but incurred several new taxes. Vinh Hoan reported revenue of 3.470 trillion VND, up 5.8%, with a profit of 455 billion VND. Nam Kim Steel saw a 27% revenue drop and a nearly 24% profit reduction. Conversely, Vinatex achieved a record profit of 359.3 billion VND, up 56%. May Song Hong also succeeded with a net profit of nearly 201 billion VND, up 54%. Q4/2025 is expected to show clearer division: Vinatex warns of decreased orders to the US, while Thanh Cong Textile is optimistic with 76% of Q4 revenue already recorded. The seafood sector, especially Sao Ta, faces significant challenges if anti-dumping taxes rise after October 15, but has expanded its international market to reduce dependence on the US.
