The U.S. Department of Justice has launched a Scam Center Strike Force to tackle crypto fraud operations linked to Chinese crime syndicates. This initiative aims to dismantle global scam networks through a coordinated federal approach.
Attorney Jeanine Pirro reported that American victims lost approximately 135 billion USD in 2024. The Strike Force will identify and prosecute scam leaders while working to recover victims’ assets.
