On November 12, 2025, Vietnam Report announced the VNR500 rankings, with Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen at the top. In the top 10 private enterprises, Vingroup maintained its leading position, followed by Hoa Phat, The gioi Di dong, VPBank, and Masan Group, all keeping their ranks from 2024. Notably, Vietjet Air and HDBank appeared in the top 10 for the first time, led by billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao. Techcombank and Vinamilk also climbed to ranks 6 and 9. The Industrial – Construction sector solidified its key position, comprising 68% of enterprises in the rankings. The Service sector also improved in company scale despite a slight revenue decrease. The Finance, Mining, and Electricity sectors still show large scales but struggle with growth; conversely, Transport – Logistics and Food sectors recorded high growth rates. Forecasts for the next 12 months show potential for growth in Transport/Logistics, Construction, and Industrial/Manufacturing sectors.
