On November 18, Vietjet Air announced the restoration of direct flights to Con Dao starting November 25. The airline will deploy 4 aircraft to operate on the Hanoi – Con Dao and Ho Chi Minh City – Con Dao routes with a frequency of 1 flight per day in each direction. Vietjet had suspended these flights since October 2025, forcing passengers from the northern region to connect through Ho Chi Minh City or Can Tho. By December 15, Vietjet plans to assign an additional 4 aircraft, doubling the service frequency. The resumption of direct flights will provide greater convenience for passengers and boost tourism in Con Dao during the peak end-of-year season.
