In its 2025 business report, Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) expects to achieve a revenue of 7.688 trillion VND, a 30% increase compared to 2024, and a projected after-tax profit of 2.8 trillion VND, up 164% year-on-year, surpassing the initial plan by 180%. In the first 9 months, the company reported a profit of 1.3 trillion VND and expects around 1.5 trillion VND in Q4, largely from financial activities, including an estimated one-time income of 1 trillion VND from debt restructuring. HAGL is heavily involved in the fruit sector, primarily bananas and durians, which account for 80% of its revenue. The company owns 7,030 hectares of bananas in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia and is implementing a strategy to export 60% of its banana output to China, while the remainder targets high-end markets like Japan.
