Nguyen Ngoc Thai Binh, Deputy CEO of Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation (REE), has registered to sell 400,000 REE shares from November 26 to December 24. Binh, the son of Chairman Nguyen Thi Mai Thanh, has been on the Board of Directors since 2007 and previously served as CFO. Mai Thanh’s family holds a significant portion of REE shares, with her holding 12.8%, her husband 5.5%, and her daughter 1.3%. The largest institutional shareholder is Platinum Victory with 41.6%. The REE share price is currently recovering, reaching approximately 67,400 VND/share, a 20% increase from the start of the year. If the sale is successful, Binh could earn around 27 billion VND, reducing his ownership from 1.98% to 1.9%. REE reported revenue of over 7.134 trillion VND in the first 9 months of 2025, with a net profit of about 2.381 trillion VND, a 57% increase from the previous year, thanks to its hydropower plants and air conditioning sector.
