Bitwise CIO predicts most digital asset treasuries will face discounts instead of premiums

Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer at Bitwise, pointed out that most Digital Asset Treasuries (DATs) will struggle to maintain premiums amidst challenges like liquidity constraints and operational expenses. He believes these factors create downward pressure on their valuations.

The continued downturn in the crypto market has worsened the situation for DATs, leading to significant unrealized losses. Hougan suggests that regulated products such as ETFs could provide better investment options than traditional DATs.
