Three decades of the “boss” in Vung Tau: What is the situation with an 800 ha land fund and a series of large projects?

DIC Corp was established in the early 1990s in Vung Tau, becoming one of the first companies to develop coastal real estate. After 30 years, DIC owns 800 ha of land here, with key projects like Cap Saint Jacques Complex and DIC Solar City. Notably, Cap Saint Jacques is a hotel, apartment, and commercial center with an investment of 3.6 trillion VND, catering to beach tourism and MICE. However, some projects like DIC Chí Linh City and Vung Tau Gateway are facing delays, impacting the development of residential areas. DIC also owns other projects such as Vung Tau Centre Point and Emera apartments, but they face challenges in implementation and occupancy. DIC Corp must accelerate its progress and resolve legal issues to maintain its market position amid increasing competition from other corporations.
