Thailand’s data authority orders World to erase 1.2 million iris scans and halt operations

Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Commission has ordered World to remove 1.2 million iris scans due to violations involving cryptocurrency exchanges for biometric data.

Local exchanges Binance, Bitkub, and Orbix have alerted users to be cautious in trading WLD during this regulatory action.

M Vision stated that the mandated deletions could lead to significant losses, placing estimated costs around 31 million USD for affected users.
