HDBank Raises 1 Trillion VND Through Bonds

The Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) recently announced the results of its bond issuance, successfully issuing 1,000 bonds with the code HDB12508 at a value of 1 billion VND each, raising a total of 1 trillion VND. The bonds are set for a 3-year term, issued domestically, and due on November 26, 2028. This marks the eighth bond issuance by HDBank this year, following an earlier 800 bond issuance on November 18, 2025, valued at 800 billion VND. Additionally, HDBank recently held its General Meeting of Shareholders and received approval for a 25% stock dividend for 2024 and a 5% bonus share issuance from undistributed profits. Upon completion of both plans, HDBank’s charter capital will increase from 38.594 trillion VND to over 50.172 trillion VND, potentially reducing Sovico Group’s ownership from 11.693% to 9.992%.
