Bau Duc Welcomes Good News at the Project Marking the Real Estate Comeback

The Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee has approved the Phu Dong High-rise Residential and Commercial Complex project developed by HAGL. This project is being implemented on land that HAGL has owned for over 15 years. According to the plan, the project will include a 25-story apartment building and a 3.5-story commercial townhouses with a total investment of 400 billion VND. Bau Duc, Chairman of the HAGL Board, stated that this is an opportunity for the company to return to the real estate market after focusing on agriculture for many years. He admitted that this return might not align with promises to shareholders but emphasized that the main goal is to develop the local area. The project is expected to be built in a strategic location in Pleiku, near the Mường Thanh Grand Hotel. HAGL was once a significant name in real estate from 2006 to 2012 but later withdrew to restructure and shifted its focus to agriculture.
