Ethereum Foundation activates BPO-1, increasing blob capacity to 15 per block

On December 11, the Ethereum Foundation declared the activation of BPO-1, which boosts the blob capacity per block to 15. This improvement lends more available space on Ethereum’s L2 network without needing a hard fork.

BPO-2 is expected to debut in January, promising to further expand the capacity available on the Ethereum network.
