On December 15, 2025, Coinbase will stop offering USDC rewards to free users, restricting it to Coinbase One subscribers who pay a $4.99 monthly fee. The subscription provides a 4% reward rate on all USDC holdings alongside added benefits.
Coinbase reported a significant increase in USDC holdings, reaching 9 billion USD, a 90% rise year-over-year. This growth has also spurred a $107.1 million increase in stablecoin revenue for Q3 2025.
