On December 12th, reports revealed that a whale had begun to sell 150 BTC to repay a loan from Aave, incurring a significant loss in the process.
Having started buying WBTC in April 2025, the whale currently has 225.07 WBTC pledged to Aave, with an outstanding loan of 8.74 million USD.
