Fraudulent Zerobase front-end leads to theft of over 250,000 USDT through BSC phishing contract

On December 12th, it was reported that a malicious contract named ‘Vault’ deceived users into authorizing USDT by posing as the ZEROBASE frontend. This incident is attributed to an attack on ZEROBASE and not a flaw in the Binance Web3 wallet.

Hundreds of users have been impacted, with losses totaling over $250,000 USDT, the largest being $123,000. In response, ZEROBASE has implemented a detection mechanism to help secure its users, urging them to quickly revoke unsafe authorizations.
