UK cryptocurrency holders decrease to 4.5 million, average holdings rise to approximately 2,500 USD

The number of cryptocurrency holders in the UK has dropped from 7 million to 4.5 million, accounting for 8% of the adult population.

The average holding per person has risen to approximately 2,500 USD, reflecting increased investment despite fewer holders.

The FCA is consulting on new cryptocurrency regulations while public awareness remains strong at 91%. About 70% hold Bitcoin and 35% hold Ethereum.
