Hyper Foundation proposes to permanently burn HYPE tokens held by aid fund

The Hyper Foundation aims to receive validators’ votes on burning HYPE rewards held by the Aid Fund. This move will permanently eliminate these tokens from both circulation and total supply.

Notably, the Aid Fund’s system address lacks a private key, meaning the HYPE tokens are unrecoverable. A ‘yes’ vote will enforce the burn without needing on-chain actions.
