HDCapital increases ownership to nearly 17% at Petrosetco

HDCapital has announced an increase in its ownership of shares in the Petrosetco Corporation (PET) to nearly 17%. Specifically, HDCapital successfully purchased 3.5 million PET shares on December 17, 2025, raising its total holdings to over 17.97 million shares, equivalent to 16.84% of Petrosetco’s capital. With the closing price of PET shares at 31,350 VND/share, HDCapital has spent approximately 109.7 billion VND on this transaction. In addition, on December 11, 2025, six individual investors purchased over 24.9 million PET shares issued by Petrovietnam, equivalent to 23.21% of the capital at a price of 36,500 VND/share. This divestment is part of Petrovietnam’s restructuring plan as approved by the government. Petrosetco operates in the distribution of electronic equipment, and since 2020 has been an authorized distributor for Apple. For the first nine months of the year, Petrosetco reported a net profit of 187 billion VND, a 65% increase compared to the same period last year.
