China’s Cyberspace Administration closes 1,418 fraudulent websites this year

The Cyberspace Administration of China reported shutting down 1,418 fraudulent websites this year, a 1.7-fold rise from the previous year.

These websites included 323 that impersonated state-owned enterprises and 61 that targeted users for stock trading apps and stablecoin purchases.
