Bulgaria officially becomes the 21st member of the Eurozone

On January 1st, European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde confirmed Bulgaria’s formal entry into the Eurozone, leading to the council’s increase to 27 members.

Bulgarian Central Bank Governor Radev emphasized that joining the Eurozone is not just an economic choice but a significant shift for the country. The Bitcoins sold previously now hold a market value surpassing Bulgaria’s public debt.
