Caroline Crenshaw, SEC commissioner known for doubts on cryptocurrencies, resigns

On January 2nd, Caroline Crenshaw resigned from her position at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Her tenure was marked by skepticism about cryptocurrencies.

Crenshaw criticized the SEC’s guidance on Meme coins and published a paper in February pointing out credibility issues related to enforcement actions against Coinbase.
