Coinbase is ceasing peso transactions for USDC in Argentina, effective January 31, 2026. Customers have until then to complete their peso exchanges. This step is part of an operational reassessment amid complex regulatory conditions.
Despite halting fiat services, Coinbase will continue its activities in Argentina through Base, its Ethereum network, and will maintain partnerships with local firms, ensuring uninterrupted crypto trading.
