The Government Inspectorate has recommended that the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa Province revoke 305 land use certificates issued for the NovaBeach Cam Ranh project due to several violations in land management and permitting processes. The project, encompassing over 85,000 m², encountered numerous issues regarding planning and investment since its commencement in October 2020. The inspection report highlighted that selecting the investor without a bidding process violated the Land Law, and handing over and leasing land without inclusion in the land use plan was unlawful. Although the project’s land use purpose was changed from rural to commercial, the rental land price remains undetermined. The Inspectorate demands a review and adjustment of land types and usage periods to comply with legal regulations. Additionally, the project’s current progress must be assessed, and the investor urged to expedite project completion.
