XAI secures 20 billion USD in Series E funding for Grok expansion and AI infrastructure development

In a successful Series E funding round, xAI raised 20 billion USD, surpassing its initial goal of 15 billion USD. Major investors included Valor Equity Partners, Fidelity, Qatar Investment Authority, NVIDIA, and Cisco.

The funding will accelerate the enhancement of Colossus I and II supercomputers and advance the Grok platform, which caters to over 600 million monthly active users across consumer and enterprise sectors.
