The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) reported that SSI increased its brokerage market share to 12.50% in Q4 2025, the highest in 22 quarters, marking its fifth consecutive quarter of growth. For the entire year, SSI’s market share reached 11.53%, the highest in five years, demonstrating its competitive capability. TCBS has also made strides with a 9% market share, while VPBankS entered the top 10 for the first time. In contrast, VPS, despite leading, saw its market share decline to the lowest level in 19 quarters. The VN-Index closed at 1,784.49 points, the highest in 26 years, with a total growth of 40.87% for the year, placing Vietnam among the top 10 global stock markets. Market liquidity increased by 33% compared to the previous year, indicating investor optimism about reforms and economic growth. Competition in the brokerage market intensifies as securities firms invest heavily in technology and service improvements.
