VinFast Increases Capital by 30 trillion VND to Nearly 81 trillion VND, Surpassing Vingroup

VinFast, a company owned by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, has increased its charter capital from 50.793 trillion VND to 80.793 trillion VND, surpassing Vingroup’s 77.335 trillion VND. After this change, foreign capital at VinFast is 9.415 trillion VND, decreasing its proportion to 11.7%. VinFast anticipates reaching a global sales figure of nearly 200,000 vehicles by 2025, currently holding a 30% market share in Vietnam with over 170,000 units sold, outpacing Toyota and Hyundai. Additionally, other companies within Vingroup have also increased their capital, such as GSM from 18 trillion to 25 trillion VND, VinMetal from 10 trillion to 15 trillion VND, and VinEnergo from 10 trillion to 28.335 trillion VND, indicating strong expansion within the Vingroup ecosystem.
