Hoà Phát Group, led by billionaire Trần Đình Long, has produced a record 10.6 million tons of steel in 2025, up 31% from the previous year. In Q4/2025, Hoà Phát produced over 3 million tons of crude steel, achieving multiple records, including hot rolled coil (HRC) output of 1.6 million tons, a 30% increase. The group also reported 4.8 million tons of construction steel for the year, maintaining the largest market share in Vietnam at 36%. December 2025 saw construction steel output reach a high of 585,000 tons, reinforcing Hoà Phát’s dominance with HRC accounting for 60% of Vietnam’s production. Additionally, Hoà Phát plans to expand with a factory for producing railway and special steel in Dung Quất, set for completion in 2027. Hoà Phát is the largest steel manufacturer in Southeast Asia and completed an IPO for its agricultural sector, raising 1.2 trillion VND.
