Polygon Labs is investing 250 million USD to acquire Coinme, a cash-to-crypto service, and Sequence, a provider of smart wallet technology. This strategic acquisition is aimed at strengthening its regulated payment services.
CEO Marc Boiron expressed that the focus is on creating revenue-generating solutions. The acquisitions are designed to position Polygon for an economy increasingly reliant on stablecoins and tokenized securities.
