General Secretary To Lam Assigns Tasks to Petrolimex

At the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son awarded the First-Class Labor Medal to Petrolimex, recognizing its achievements over 70 years of ensuring energy supply for the country. General Secretary To Lam congratulated Petrolimex in a letter, reaffirming its role in national energy security and tasked it with innovating its growth model and leading the petroleum market. He requested Petrolimex to contribute to reducing input costs for the economy, promoting sustainable growth. Currently, Petrolimex holds nearly 50% market share with a wide distribution network and extensive logistics infrastructure. By 2025, Petrolimex’s revenue reached 290 trillion VND, contributing over 30 trillion VND to the state budget. The group plans to restructure based on three pillars: green transformation, digital transformation, and organizational and cultural transformation, aiming to develop into a modern energy group.
