The 10-year US Treasury yield has surged to 4.27%, marking a four-month high, which is raising borrowing costs on various loans, including mortgages.
As a result of rising yields, risk assets such as Bitcoin are feeling the pressure, with Bitcoin prices plummeting over 1.5% to around 91,000 USD.
Concerns over President Trump’s tariff threats toward Europe amplify these pressures, potentially affecting the 12.6 trillion USD in US assets held by Europe.
