Sacombank’s stock (STB) has surged, reaching a peak of 62,100 VND/share, amidst investor anticipation for new board developments. The market capitalization of STB now stands at a record 117 trillion VND. Sacombank is set to announce the nomination of new board members for the 2022-2026 term today, with a deadline for submissions by February 6, 2026. The current board includes Chairman Duong Cong Minh and several other members, with member Nguyen Duc Thach Diem having resigned. Recent personnel changes include Nguyen Duc Thuy being appointed as Acting CEO and Nguyen Thi Kieu Anh as Deputy CEO. Duong Thanh Tuan has transitioned roles, and Duong Trung Loi is taking on a new position. The decision to have Duong Cong Minh assume legal representation aims to ensure continuity in bank operations during the leadership transition.
