The Hanoi Stock Exchange has announced that Novaland, a real estate investment group, has delayed the payment of bond principal. On January 23, 2026, Novaland was supposed to pay over 112.8 billion VND for bond NVLH2123007 but has only made a partial payment of 625.5 million VND, leaving nearly 112.2 billion VND unpaid. The company is negotiating with investors for this outstanding debt. The bond issued on July 23, 2021, totaled 137.6 billion VND with an 11% annual interest rate. Additionally, Novaland is also required to pay over 8 million USD in interest for bond NVLD2126009 on January 16, 2026, but is similarly unable to secure the funds. The actual outstanding bond debt as of January 16, 2026, is reported to be over 306 million USD due to restructuring and unpaid interest. Novaland has also committed to contribute 600 billion VND to Tường Minh Investment and Real Estate LLC to increase funding for the Aqua Marina City project in Đồng Nai.
