In the next 44 hours, the XLS 80 permissioned domains amendment will go live on the XRP Ledger. This feature allows traditional financial institutions to provide services on-chain while adhering to compliance regulations.
On February 12, 2026, an important token escrow amendment is also scheduled to activate, enhancing the functionalities of XRP Ledger. Additional proposals like single-asset vault and lending protocols are currently under consideration.
