On February 3rd, several illegal sports streaming websites such as Xoilac, Vebo, and Thapcam unexpectedly ceased operations, providing an opportunity for legitimate platforms like FPT Play. Shares of FPT Telecom (FOX) surged, increasing its market capitalization to nearly 70 trillion VND. Previously, the rights to the English Premier League belonged to K+, but recently FPT Play secured a deal to broadcast the league until 2031. Hoàng Việt Anh stated that FPT Play will enhance the viewing experience with advanced technology. In Q4 2025, FPT Telecom reported revenue of 5.22 trillion VND, and a taxable profit of 1.136 trillion VND, a respective increase of 8.5% and 23.4% year-on-year. Total revenue for 2025 reached 19.506 trillion VND, with a taxable profit of 4.363 trillion VND.
