Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company has become one of the largest enterprises in Quang Ngai after investing over 7 billion USD since starting its project in 2017. The company produces 12 million tons of steel annually, mainly hot rolled steel and high-quality steel. From 2017 to 2025, it has contributed more than 40 trillion VND to the state budget, with an estimated 8.237 trillion VND in 2025 alone. It provides approximately 17,000 stable jobs, with over 80% being local labor. Established in February 2017, the company is the investor behind the Hoa Phat integrated steel production complex in Dung Quat Economic Zone and is currently developing the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Complex 2 with a total investment of 85 trillion VND.
