Vingroup’s VIC shares dropped sharply by 6.96% during the trading session on February 4, reaching 121,600 VND per share with over 11.7 million shares traded. In the last six sessions, VIC shares experienced three limit-downs and have fallen over 28% since the beginning of 2026. The fortune of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong also declined, currently estimated at 546 trillion VND, equivalent to 19.9 billion USD, a loss of 1.3 billion USD in just one day. His wife, Pham Thu Huong, also saw her wealth decrease by nearly 157 million USD to 2.1 billion USD, while his sister-in-law, Pham Thuy Hang, lost 110 million USD, bringing her total to 1.4 billion USD. In terms of revenue for 2025, Vingroup reported 332.77 trillion VND, a 76% increase compared to the previous year, with a post-tax profit of 11.146 trillion VND, growing 111% year-on-year.
