Pig Prices Drop 20%, BAF Vietnam Reports Loss of 265 Billion VND in Q4/2025

In its Q4 2025 financial report, BAF Vietnam Agricultural Corporation recorded net revenue of about 1.4 trillion VND, down 18.2% year-on-year. This decline is mainly due to the company’s cessation of agricultural production, leading to reduced revenue scale. However, the 3F livestock sector grew by 34% in revenue with a 67.1% increase in sales volume, achieving 1.4 trillion VND. Due to a 20% drop in average selling price to 60,000 VND/kg, gross profit margin plummeted from 19% to -3.2%, resulting in a gross loss of 49 billion VND. Sales and management costs also surged, with personnel and transportation costs significantly increasing. Additionally, financial costs rose 54.6% in Q4, leading to a net loss of 265 billion VND. For the year, total revenue topped 5.05 trillion VND, while net profit fell 69% to about 100 billion VND. BAF’s stock price slightly recovered to 37,650 VND/share.
