Original Penguin parent company sues Pudgy Penguins over trademark infringement

PEI Licensing, parent company of Original Penguin, has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Pudgy Penguins, claiming the crypto brand’s apparel marks mislead and deceive consumers. PEI has used a penguin trademark since 1956 and previously sent a cease-and-desist notice to the project.
