Strike has obtained virtual currency and money transmitter licenses from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). This approval allows residents to buy Bitcoin, set recurring purchases, and convert paychecks into BTC.
Jack Mallers, CEO of Strike, stated that receiving the BitLicense is a crucial milestone for their expansion plans in New York, a major financial market.
