Optimism deploys Canyon upgrade to mainnet
On January 12, the Canyon upgrade was officially deployed to the mainnet by Optimism (OP).
This upgrade is made to minimize unnecessary risks during smart contract development, reduce the rate of gas fee fluctuations, and increase security for Optimism.
