Polygon announced that it will upgrade its Etrog mainnet next month, transforming the Polygon zkEVM network into a Type 2 ZK-EVM.

Type 2 ZK-EVM allows developers to deploy their code on Polygon zkEVM exactly as it is on Ethereum—just copy-paste and go, no modifications necessary.
